Terms of Use
1. Scope
These terms apply to the Photos Cleanup apps for Mac, Windows, iPhone, iPad and Android and to this website. The provider is Mohamed Ali Masmoudi (see Imprint). By using the apps you accept these terms.
2. What Photos Cleanup does
Photos Cleanup lets you review photos one at a time and decide to keep them, delete them or move them into folders or albums. It works with folders on your computer and the photo library on your phone. The Mac and Windows app is free. The phone app is free with a monthly limit and ads; Pro removes the limit and the ads.
3. Your photos and your choices
You decide what happens to each photo. Changes are applied only after you confirm them. On your computer, deleted photos go to the Trash or Recycle Bin. Photos you remove from there, or that your phone deletes for good, cannot be restored by us. Please keep a backup of photos that matter to you.
4. Pro and subscriptions
Pro is bought in the phone app through the App Store or Google Play. Payment, renewal, cancellation and refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their terms. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your App Store or Google Play account settings. For apps downloaded from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.
5. Fair use
You may use Photos Cleanup for your own photos and for lawful purposes. Do not attempt to bypass the free limit or the purchase checks, and do not copy, modify or reverse engineer the apps beyond what the law allows.
6. Other services
If you use the App Store or Google Play, the terms and privacy policies of those providers apply as well. Ads in the free version are provided by Google AdMob.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep Photos Cleanup reliable and up to date, but we cannot promise that it is always available or free of errors. We may change, improve or discontinue features. If we change these terms, we publish the new version here.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence, we are liable only for the breach of essential obligations, limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical when you started using the app. For the free version and the free computer app, we are liable only for intent and gross negligence. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
9. Applicable law
German law applies. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live still apply.
